Buzzword updates

Sunday, February 10th, 2008

Approximately 50 buzzwords were added to the Buzzword monitor web site recently, and I also listed a few of my favorite ones on the Blog last night. The whole idea of the web site is keep the definitions pretty simple, at least initially, but I suspect that the amount of information describing each buzzword will increase when people start making changes to the definitions.

Hopefully, the web site will not get too much SPAM, but if it does we will add Captcha’s to limit the access to Bots, and script monkeys. until that happens, it will be kept as simple as possible to make it easy for people to make changes to the definitions.

So take a look around, let us know what you think, and we look forward to hearing how we can improve the web site.

Buzzword Monitor

Saturday, February 9th, 2008

The Buzzword Monitor Wiki Web Site has been launched. It is intended to be an easy to use web site, where people can find quick definitions of popular buzzwords. Since the web site is wiki based, it is also possible for people to make changes to any of the definitions, or add their own buzzwords.
